Are you ready to embrace the surge of change and navigate life with the graceful power of silence?
I have kept the habit of writing an annual update email to friends for almost two decades. Every year, my wishes to them varies. I like to follow my intuitive and energetically feeling instead of the generic “happy holidays.”
Silence is the place to anchor ourselves and to see our clear path ahead.
No matter what your goals are for the next year;
No matter what changes you desire to make for the next year;
No matter what new things you are inspire to create next year;
No matter what healing you may go through next year;
I wish the gracious Silence is always with you.
May the gracious Silence be with you.
Be love and be loved.

And you ask, HOW?
Maybe you’ve practiced yoga and meditation for some time or even years and yet, the Silence stays elusive during your day-to-day tasks and dealings.
Maybe you’ve tried to carve out alone time to be away from busy-ness but the speed train of thoughts just don’t let you.
Try these:
🩷 Instill the belief that “The power of Silence resides in you”. You are the owner and the master of it.
🩷 Decide Silence is what you want to be.
🩷 Take 5-10 deep breaths. Focus on the breathing every time you are changing gear – one task to another; one environment to another; one role to another.
🩷 BE with the discomfort. A lot of times, when our external movement stops, we are not comfortable to be aware of our internal thoughts. Be with them without judgement. You DO NOT need to banish your thoughts to be in Silence.
🩷 Do things which require less intellectual involvement during your ME time. Personally, I take up gardening and cooking. Give your mind and brain a rest. Try to connect with what you do – the plants, the nature, the food for example.
🩷 Stop multi-tasking! You are not going faster or better when the mind is scattered. It’s neuroscientific proven.
🩷 Carefully choose your thought when you open your eyes in the morning and when you close your eyes in the night.
If you really put these into practice, I would love to know what’s shifted for you. Do share!
